The deal, in plain words.
Valumechpublishes reference prices and modeled used-value estimates for humanoid robots and robot dogs. By using the site you accept the terms below. They’re short on purpose, and the most important one is the first: our numbers are editorial reference data, not appraisals.
As of 14 July 2026 — we update these terms as the service evolves.
The numbers are reference estimates, not appraisals
Every new price is verified against the maker’s own channel or left blank. Used-value figures, by contrast, are modeled estimates — illustrative, not measured. They are not appraisals, not offers to buy or sell, and not financial, investment, or insurance advice. We make no warranty that any figure is accurate, current, or fit for a particular decision. The market for used humanoids barely exists yet, so treat estimates as a starting point and verify anything you plan to act on. Exactly how the numbers are built — and their known limits — is public on our methodology page.
Using the site
You’re welcome to read, cite, and link to Valumech pages. Please don’t scrape the catalog wholesale, resell it as your own dataset, or use the site to break the law or disrupt its operation. Licensed access to the underlying price history and depreciation curves is a separate offering — see Valumech for business.
Data contributions
When you submit a sale, register a robot, or list one for sale through our forms, you grant Valumech the right to verify what you sent, aggregate it with other data, and display it in anonymized form — for example as a used-price comp or a market average. What you keep is just as clear:
- You keep ownership of your data; you grant us a licence to use it, not the data itself.
- We publish contributions only anonymized and aggregated — never your name, email, or a raw serial number.
- You can ask us to delete your contribution at any time through the contact form(reason “privacy request”).
- Please only submit information that is accurate and yours to share.
What we do with contributions, and the review step every submission passes through, is described in the privacy policy.
Liability
The site is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, Valumechisn’t liable for losses arising from decisions you make using our estimates, from errors or gaps in the data, or from downtime. If you find something wrong, tell us — see the corrections route in our editorial policy— and we’ll fix it against the source.
