The valuation reference for humanoid robots.
Valumech is the “Blue Book” for humanoid robots — the real new price of every model on the market, how fast it depreciates, and what a used one is worth. We track 49 models from 40 manufacturers, and we publish ranges with confidence ratings, never single hard appraisals.
Our one rule: sourced, or left blank
The humanoid-robot market is full of confident-sounding numbers that don't survive a second look — reseller markups, expired promos, aspirational targets quoted as prices. Valumech's entire reason to exist is the opposite discipline: every figure is verified against the source, or it is left blank — never guessed.A price counts only from the manufacturer's own site or an official sales channel. Of the 49 robots we track, 11have a genuine public price; the rest are honestly marked “not publicly priced” rather than filled with a plausible-looking estimate.
How the numbers are built
New prices are tracked from manufacturer pages and official channels, with full provenance on every figure. Used-value estimates come from a transparent, tier-based depreciation model — and we label them clearly as modeled placeholders, not data-backed appraisals, because the resale market for humanoids barely exists yet. As real resale data accumulates, we replace the model per robot and drop the placeholder label. The full method is public: how we value →.
Honest by design
We'd rather be useful and trusted than comprehensive and wrong. So we show our work: every spec and price links to its source, estimates carry confidence ratings, and we say plainly where the model is weak (tight ranges, no new→used cliff yet, thin resale markets). The catalog itself is deliberately bounded to the notable humanoid universe — accuracy over a padded count.
Who it's for
Buyers and researchers comparing what's on the market; and, increasingly, the lenders, insurers, and lessors who need to underwrite assets that depreciate fast. The depreciation curves, the price index, and the methodology behind every estimate are available as licensed data — see Valumech for business.
