What we collect, and why.
Valumech is a reference site for humanoid-robot prices and values. We collect as little as possible: anonymous traffic analytics, plus whatever you choose to type into one of our forms. No ads, no data sales, no advertising profiles. Here is exactly what that means.
As of 14 July 2026 — we update this page as the service evolves.
Analytics (measuring traffic)
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic — which pages get read, roughly how many people visit, and where they arrive from. Google derives a coarse, city-level location from your IP address; we don’t store your IP ourselves. We use Google Consent Mode: if you’re in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, no analytics are collected until you opt in through the consent banner. Elsewhere, analytics run by default and you can decline at any time using the same banner.
What our forms store
Three forms write to our database, and only when you submit them:
- Report a sale / register a robot — the model, an optional serial or unit ID, the sale price, condition and date, any notes, and an optional email so we can follow up.
- Valumech for business— your name, email, company, and what you’re asking about.
- Contact — your message and a reply email.
We read these ourselves to verify contributions, answer questions, and improve our estimates. Contributed sale data is only ever shown anonymized and aggregated — never attributed to you — as covered in the Terms. We never sell any of it.
Who processes your data
We keep the moving parts few and name them plainly:
- Google Analytics — traffic measurement.
- Vercel — hosting and standard server logs.
- Neon — the Postgres database that stores form submissions.
That is the whole list.
How long we keep it
Analytics data follows Google Analytics’ default retention. Form submissions stay until we’ve processed what you sent or you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete any data you’ve sent us. Use the contact formand pick the reason “privacy request.” You can also decline analytics through the consent banner at any time. We don’t require an account to read the site, so there’s nothing to log in to and no password to lose.
What we never do
No advertising. No selling or renting your data. No cross-site tracking profiles. The only outbound commercial links on the site are clearly-marked affiliate links, disclosed in full on our affiliate disclosure.
